About Market at Don's Dock

We sold the property in October of last year. We will be relocating to a new facility in Tarpon Springs as soon as permitting and build out in complete. In the mean time Hubbards Marina has taken over the facility at Dons Dock in John Pass. Market at Don's Dock is home to Madeira Beach's best fresh seafood. We supply thousands of pounds of Grouper and Snapper throughout Florida each month. Our market also features fresh, locally sourced shrimp, clams, stone crab claws and more. Visitors to the market may watch our boats unload, pick their fish, and have it filleted by our experts free of charge or take home the whole fish. Don's Dock & Marina also features bait, tackle, fuel for the boat and bulk ice for those long fishing adventures.

Our usual fish shop closed since our last visit so we had to try somewhere new. We weren’t disappointed with Don’s. Very fresh fish and a decent selection when we stopped in. Some frozen options and beverages are also available.

Not sure who the gentleman was who helped me today but basically admitted I was a tourist and needed help selecting a "begginer" fish to fry, he couldn't have gone wrong with his selection. My wife and son loved the blackened red snapper we had, plus due to the limited amenities at my rental it was greatly appreciated for him to fillet it there.

This is my first time at Don’s Dock Seafood Market and must say I’m quite impressed with the cleanliness of the market and the freshness of fish which of course is fresh caught daily. The staff is amazing, friendly and knowledgeable and very professional. This is my new fish market as I will definitely be back.

Update May'24: This remains to be our absolute favorite seafood market!! Bonus points for paying attention to our special request and calling us in, when fresh catch of our favorite fish (King mackerel) became available!! Did not mind the one plus hour drive post a work day just to get our hands on the fresh catch!! Thank you Don's Dock!! We appreciate you!! Previous review: Love this market! We've recommended this market to all our friends. This is a wonderful seafood market. Fresh fish, great variety and they clean the fish for us per our requirements. We drive over an hour to buy our fish from Don's dock. The freshness of the fish and the service provided by the staff here makes the drive worth it! We do call ahead to find out the catch of the day and they are always honest, pleasant and answer all questions with no rush. I love birds, Pelicans especially! So its a bonus to watch these birds interact with the staff while they clean the fish.
